"We loved with a love that was more than love"

Hello!

Thank you for stopping by. I am a community doula working in the NYC metropolitan area, though I'm more than happy to work virtually if you live out of this area. I would love to get in touch and see how I can best serve you!

Prenatal and Postpartum Guidance

I am here to support you in whichever way you need. Bringing a baby into this world is no small feat! Having a doula at your side during your vulnerable moments can help you create a joyful and safe environment before and after they enter this world.

Angelina Tang,

The science behind doulas!

Before modernized medicine, births all around the world were tended to by knowledgeable family and friends. They were there to provide comfort and care in addition to medical support. With the rise of Westernized medical care in the last century, humanizing the birthing experience has taken a back seat.

This has been detrimental to our communities, especially Black and Indigenous families who suffer from higher rates of adverse health outcomes. However, recent research has shown that doula care is beginning to bridge that gap and decrease maternal and infant mortality.

I acknowledge that I work and live on Lenapehoking, the unceded ancestral lands of the Lenape peoples. I am committed to working with Indigenous and First Nations families to address the generational trauma they face as a result of their forced removed from their homes, and upholding a standard of care that honours their life and legacy.
